Lincoln's Interview with Rick Simpson

8/10/2012 On August 6th, 2012 I was able to interview Rick Simpson over a Skype phone call. Unfortunately because of technical difficulties I was not able to capture a video of the interview. I was however able to get an audio recording of the first 12 minutes of our conversation. Rick has a lot of great information to offer and I learned a lot from our conversation. In the 12 minutes that I was able to record Rick we talked about the charges against him, his home being raided by the RCMP, Tommy Chong and more. He offered some great advice so I wanted to share with you what he shared with me. Below is our conversation. |

Rick: How are you today Lincoln?
Lincoln: Great, How are you doing Rick?
Rick: Aww, not to bad.
Lincoln: Well thank you for taking time out of your day to talk to me. Did you get a chance to look over the questions I sent you?
Rick: No not yet, I was busy outside.
Lincoln: No big deal. I just had a few questions that i wanted to ask you. It won't take long. So first of all I know you have been over seas for a while. I was wondering what it was you got done while you were gone?
Rick: Well i did many seminars and continued to spread the word to people in Europe and these different countries I was in. But like I said before I didn't stay in Europe because of these charges. I stayed there actually for the the people to become more of what was going on here. And also to write that book, to bring the truth forward.
Lincoln: Speaking of the charges you had against you. What were they exactly? Its kind of hard to find any sound information on it.
Lincoln: Great, How are you doing Rick?

Lincoln: Speaking of the charges you had against you. What were they exactly? Its kind of hard to find any sound information on it.

Rick: Well the ones that they just withdrew. Well I'll tell you what they did they went in in 2009 while I was in Europe and the RCMP tried to frame me is what they did. They tried to say I had 70 lbs of marijuana in my house which was an out and out lie. They went in and dug up compost from my backyard. You know like when I'm done wasting the plants, the material, I just throw it out on the hill side in my backyard. Well they dug up compost from my backyard and tried to say it was pot. And then they tried to say I had restricted weapons and the only thing in my house when I left was a perfectly legal pellet gun. And the other thing was , they said there were booby traps (laughs). Which again there was not. There were a couple of garbage bags on my deck and my son took a couple boards and put nails in them and put them around the bags to keep the bears out of them. So that was it. |

Lincoln: If the charges had been dropped was my next question so that great to hear. So now have you come home for a limited time to see family?
Rick: I came home just to touch base. I haven't seen my mother since 2009. And my girlfriend and my children and stuff. I came to Canada just for a few weeks and I'll be leaving on the 14th (of August). I'm flying back to Europe.
Lincoln: The next thing i wanted to ask you was about Tommy Chong. I know you have heard that he is going to be treating his prostate cancer with hemp oil. What are your thoughts on that and have you actually got to talk to him?
Rick: No , I haven't talked to Tommy. We have sent messages to him. I talked to the guy that provided the treatment to Tommy and so I'm satisfied I mean as long as its curing him I'm happy. But i would have preferred to likely make the treatment for Tommy myself. That way i would have known exactly what he was taking. But by all appearances it worked out well so you can't ask for better than that.
Lincoln: That's true. I know how you feel when you want to be providing the oil so you know exactly what they are getting. You can always have doubts if you aren't sure where the oil came from.

Rick: Right.
Lincoln: A lot of times I get questions from people that have lung cancer and they want to know if a vaporizer is good to add to the normal oil treatment? Is that something you suggest? Rick: Oh yes, vaporizing for lung cancer is a good idea, but you should use the vaporizer along with ingesting the oil. You know that way if you ingest the oil, the THC and other cannabinoids coming through your blood stream to the lung cancer and then you know by vaporizing it right into your lungs you can almost have like a double whammy effect on the cancer. So yes that's a good idea to vaporize. Lincoln: Now i guess its true that the oil taken as a suppository will even heal hemorrhoids. Is that correct? Rick: Oh yes hemorrhoids and everything else as far as I'm concerned. I haven't seen anything that the oil doesn't work on. For things like hemorrhoids its very astounding because it will usually heal them up in a day or two. Lincoln: Ok well when done as a suppository does it help with fighting the cancer? I know people can use alcohol that way and get drunk. Does doing that with hemp oil help kill the cancer? Rick: Yes, but it depends on where you have the cancer. Like if you had bowel or something like that or prostate cancer I would say definitely use a suppository. I mean you can take it by mouth and cure those types of cancer too, but I like to get the oil as close to the cancer as possible. So if you have throat, stomach cancer or liver cancer I say take it orally , but if you have bowel cancer or that type of thing, then suppositories work wonderfully. |
Lincoln: Now most people that contact me are in late stage 3 or 4 because they have tired all the other treatments and there are no options left. Chemo or radiation or whatever it may be. How do you think we can convince or attract people to use hemp oil as a first option as opposed to a last?
Rick: Well I mean we are all providing the information to people and as far as I'm concerned i don't think anyone should take what they call "conventional" treatment. You know to me what they are doing is insanity. Like chemo and radiation are carcinogenic. They both cause cancer. So why on earth would anybody take a treatment that causes cancer to cure it. That doesn't make any sense to me. So you know all I encourage people to do is stay away from the medical system and use common sense. Use mother nature to heal. But i don't twist any ones arm. The way I look at it is if you want to take chemo and radiation to treat your cancer that's your business. But if I want to use the oil to treat my cancer that's my business.
Lincoln: That's a good way to look at it. Now a lot of people are wanting to use good nutrition, alkalizing of the body and getting rid of toxins along with the oil. Have you seen that speed up the curing process when people add these lifestyle changes as opposed to people who made no lifestyle changes at all?
Rick: Well I think making lifestyle changes like that help you although most of the people who came to me did not. I asked them to change their diet and to get their pH up. You know eat watermelon and lemon juice . That will help get your pH up. But most of the people who came to me really didn't change anything and the oil still worked for them. And I think its a good idea to use other natural things along with the oil treatment. You know just to guarantee it's going to work a little bit faster and maybe a little bit better
Lincoln: Now a lot of people that contact me are deciding if they want to take the oil and are scared to stop chemo or radiation when they start the oil treatment. Do you suggest that they stop all those treatments when they start the oil?
Rick: Well i suggest that people don't take chemo or radiation in the first place. Because I mean I think you have to be insane to take those treatments. The only logical treatment is the oil. If you have cancer that definitely the answer. And like I said do these natural things along with the oil. I always tell people that come to me that it's best to stay away from the medical system. Because practically everything they give you is going to cause more harm.
